OK, I have to admit that I'm still not sure what is going on in Mister Miracle.
We seem to be part of different realities - in one, Scott Free has become the ruler of New Genesis and is trying to end a war with Darkseid and Apokolips - but can he pay the price that peace demands?
In the other reality, Scott and Big Barda are living the humdrum life of new parents, planning a birthday party for their young son.
So what is reality? Or is this all just some strange plot by Darkseid?
We get some more hints along the way here, and some truly disquieting moments.
I'm really not sure if this series is trying to build a new reality around the character or just make fun of past incarnations.
And I suspect we won't get any real answers until the end of this mini-series (and maybe not even then).
But so far, it's compelling stuff.

Amazing art. To me, the story is an amalgamation of he traditional Mister Miracle comic with the trials of ordinary life thrown in (somewhat like Saga). Really enjoying it and excited to see where it goes....
