One of the fun things about the new X-Men series is that you never know what the next issue holds - both in terms of the characters involved and the adventures they'll face.
This issue involves a mystery at the Savage Land, where a new threat has arisen - a group of villains unlike any I've ever seen in comics before.
They pose a terrible threat to the world, one the mutants may not be able too stop.
An unusual trio of mutants are sent to investigate, including Cyclops, the White Queen and the Black King. Go figure!
It's a smart, science fiction-based adventure, and one that will have repercussions on future stories.
