King Conan #3

If you've ever wondered why Robert E. Howard has such an avid fan following, the story being adapted in King Conan should clear things up.

It's Howard's only novel-length story featuring everyone's favorite barbarian. Conan the Conqueror includes powerful magicians, brutal battles, a quest, incredibly sexy women (both good and evil), deadly dungeons, monsters and the fate of the world at stake.

It's all here in this striking adaptation by writer Tim Truman and artist Tomas Giorello. It's the perfect combination of powerful prose married to amazingly lush, vivid artwork - perhaps the best to ever grace a Conan story (and that's really saying something)!

Do yourself a favor and pick up these issues (or gather the collections when they arrive) - it's terrific work by some of the best in the business.

It's rare to see prose brought so perfectly to life in a comic. If you miss this, you're missing something special.
